This is a highly authentic-looking jacket that recreates the TAP 47/51 Paratrooper Jacket, a classic from the French Airborne Forces. Please note that this is a reproduction, not an original from that era.

“TAP” stands for the French term “Troupes Aéroportées” (Airborne Troops), and the TAP 47 series is known as the iconic combat uniform of the French Airborne Forces during the First Indochina War. With its numerous large pockets, snap buttons, and distinctive back details, it features a striking design that laid the foundation for later French Airborne uniforms.While the lizard camouflage is famous, this is a reproduction of the original OD jacket from that era.
