This is a tiger-stripe shirt featuring the Okinawa Tiger Pattern (JWD / John Wayne Dense Pattern), which appeared from the early to mid-Vietnam War era.
This pattern is widely known among collectors as the “Okinawa Tiger” or “JWD (John Wayne Dense),” and is one of the most iconic and popular variations of the tiger stripe pattern.Many of these shirts were produced around 1965–1966 and were widely used by special forces personnel and advisors heading to Vietnam, as well as by the South Vietnamese Army and CIDG soldiers.

The size stamp appears to have either never existed or is missing. Overall, there is minimal fading, and the garment retains its beautiful colors. All buttons are present, the fabric is in good condition, and considering its age, this is a very well-preserved piece.
