We have received a shipment of M-51 field pants from the initial production run, dating back to the 1951 contract. This is a classic piece
developed as part of the U.S. Army’s cold-weather gear and a crucial model that paved the way for the later M-65 pants. It can truly be considered the origin of the line.

As confirmed by the contract markings, this pair is from the first production lot of 1951. It is truly a “first-year” M-51, making it a highly sought-after piece for collectors. It is packed with details designed for maximum practicality, including the distinctive large cargo pockets, suspenders buttons at the waist, and drawstrings at the hem.Made from cotton satin, the fabric offers a firm, crisp texture with a lustrous sheen. Compared to later models, it retains a rugged, classic vibe, highlighting the unique charm of vintage military wear.

The condition is excellent, almost as if it were unused. While there are minor stains and marks from long-term storage, the fabric retains its firmness, making it in superb condition for many years of wear. The number of early production lots remaining in this condition is decreasing year by year, making its rarity self-evident.

The size is SMALL-REGULAR, a "golden size" that fits Japanese men well. It is an impeccable piece for both a collection and everyday wear. Please note that as this is a used item, returns are not accepted.
