We have received a shipment of extremely rare P-44 pants featuring the iconic "Frogskin Camo" pattern issued to the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II. Like the jacket, this model is known as a late-production version; it features specifications refined through combat experience, and the inclusion of belt loops is one of its distinctive details.

Frogskin Camo was an early reversible camouflage pattern developed by the U.S. military for the Pacific Theater—a groundbreaking design intended to adapt to both jungle and beach environments. This particular pair retains those characteristics vividly, with the contrast between the green and brown sides powerfully evoking the combat conditions of that era.

The P-44 debuted as the successor to the P-41, boasting a design that prioritized enhanced practicality. Its simple yet streamlined silhouette and rugged herringbone twill fabric embody the functional beauty characteristic of the USMC. With few surviving examples, a piece that retains the authentic atmosphere of the era is exceptionally rare. Its massive back pocket offers exceptional practicality.

Overall, the garment shows signs of fading and heavy wear, but that is precisely what makes it a genuine vintage piece. The fabric’s fade and texture offer a charm that can never be replicated in a new item, making it perfect both as a collector’s piece and as a stylish addition to your wardrobe. There is no major damage, and considering its age, it is in excellent condition.

The USMC Frogskin is one of the most popular items in military history. Among these, pants are even harder to find than jackets. This is truly a special piece that combines historical value with fashion appeal. Please note that as this is a used item, returns are not accepted.
