These are actual frogskin camouflage P44 pants used by the U.S. Marine Corps in WWII. Frogskin camouflage was dispensed to the public after the war and became popular as hunting clothing, especially in department stores. The USMC's frogskin camouflage was reversible, with the greenish side being called jungle and the lighter side being called beach. In reality, the camouflage was used without the time to change, but it was used by supply units, rear units, and vehicle units. Also, since the Marine Corps distributed frogskin camouflage helmet covers, it is possible to confirm that the above operation was actually carried out in those units.

This piece has a strong sense of use and is strongly faded. The overall color is also tanned and slightly yellowed. There is a stain on the buttocks and one hole. There is also a stenciled soldier's name. Otherwise, it is in good condition with some signs of use. The buttons work but are corroded. older P42 pants are rarer than P44 pants and very rare. If you are looking for one, don't miss out. They are used and cannot be returned. Please understand that this is a used item and cannot be returned.
