These are actual frogskin camouflage P44 pants used by the U.S. Marine Corps in WWII. Frogskin camouflage was dispensed to the public after the war and became popular as hunting clothing, especially in department stores. The USMC's frogskin camouflage was reversible, with the greenish side being called jungle and the lighter side being called beach. In reality, the camouflage was used without the time to change, but it was used by supply units, rear units, and vehicle units. Also, since the Marine Corps distributed frogskin camouflage helmet covers, it is possible to confirm that the above operation was actually carried out in those units.
