This is a used white T-shirt with a hand-written picture on it from the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Usually, soldiers who were deployed to the front lines or overseas were issued OD colored T-shirts as underwear, and since this is a white T-shirt, it is thought to be handwritten on a T-shirt issued in Japan during the Vietnam War. The soldier's name and rank are stenciled on the T-shirt. The design is faded and barely visible, but it is likely that more than one person wrote on the T-shirt. It is unknown if this T-shirt was sent to a soldier deployed overseas or if it was tailored as a design T-shirt. It is a very nice fashion item with some signs of use and stains.
