This is an real Okinawan Tiger Jacket, which is stitched with bright green thread, and is believed to have been produced relatively late in the Okinawa Tiger pattern, or JWD or John Wayne, a pattern that has been active since the early 1960s, during the early Vietnam War. It is nearly unused and retains its factory colors nicely. The fact that the print has little sheen or other marks suggests that it has only been worn a few times. It was purchased from a former Special Forces member and comes with a dock tag with the owner's name on it. Overall, the shirt is bright green, slightly lighter brown, with solid black stripes and tiger stripes. There is no size stamp, and it has a two-button breast pocket, one of the features of the US cut, but the small bandage pockets normally found on the arms are not sewn in. The cuffs are not button-locked, but rather cut off, and the cuffs are not adjustable. This is a top condition tiger stripe jacket in very good condition. If you are looking for one, don't miss out. This is a used item and cannot be returned. Please understand.
