Here is a real Beogum camouflage jacket with the size tag A-M still on it. As is often the case, the tags are not locked and are left cut off, so they tend to fray after washing or passing through water, and the condition of the size tag is worse than the condition of the garment. This is also the case with this item. There are marks on the left and right breast pockets and on the left shoulder where patches have been removed. It is not noticeable from a distance, but can be seen up close. There is little fading, but the overall color is faded. The Beogum camouflage predates the Tiger Stripe and was used from the early days of the Vietnam War. This piece is probably made in Japan, as the fabric is thicker and the selvedge edges, fabric, and sewing stitches are similar to those of the early Tiger Stripe.
