This is an example of the Okinawa Tiger Pattern with a relatively light greenish, almost warbler or lime-colored print. It is estimated to be from around 1966-67. Tiger pants in this colorway exist in a variety of cuts, including a utility pants cut and a cut with larger cargo pockets, which is very unique. The same is true for jackets. The jungle fatigues cut is also estimated to have been manufactured during this same period.
This piece has some signs of use and fading. It is not a perfect US cut, but rather a cut with two button pockets. There are no stamps or other markings on the piece, and it appears to be part of a lot of multiple cuts that are unique to this lime green Okinawa Tiger. Also characteristic is the use of brightly colored buttons. Although the piece shows signs of use, there are no stains, scratches, or repairs, and it is still in good condition for enjoyment.
It is also believed that multiple cuts were ordered and trialed by CISO. In that sense, these are very valuable jungle fatigue cut pants. They are in near-unused condition, but will be treated as used. Please note that they are non-returnable.
