This is a locally made boonie hat made in Vietnam or Thailand that appears to date from the late 1960s or early 1970s. It is made of two different fabrics, a late war pattern and a CIDG pattern, both of which are mixed together. The Late War fabric is lightweight and presumed to be made in Korea, while the CIDG pattern is not made in Japan, but in Vietnam or Thailand. The CIDG pattern is also not made in Japan, but in Vietnam or Thailand. The boonie hat is locally made from these fabrics, and the characteristics are similar to the CISO cut boonie hat, so it is assumed that the hat was copied from there. It looks almost unused from the condition of the fabric, but as you can see from the condition of the lining, it was actually used. The use of different fabrics makes it possible to enjoy the difference in color fading. There are no major stains, but there is a sense of use. It is also large in size, the size of a modern person. It is still in good condition to be enjoyed. It is a used item and cannot be returned. Please understand.

Size: about 59 (just barely at 60)
