This is a Korean-made Late War-pattern tiger-stripe shirt that first appeared in the late 1960s. It is made of heavyweight fabric and is available in sizes A–M.
The Late War pattern is known as one of the tiger stripe designs that symbolize the final stages of the Vietnam War, and this item is made from heavyweight fabric—a variant produced in limited quantities. Unlike the lightweight fabric commonly seen in later years, it uses a substantial, thick cotton twill that combines a sense of heft with durability.
The camouflage pattern is bold and powerful, and the contrast between the deep black and rich green is truly striking. The vibrant coloration—a hallmark of heavyweight fabric—really stands out, allowing you to fully appreciate the original impact of the tiger stripe pattern.
Sizes are labeled A–M. Heavyweight fabric in the Late War pattern is rarely found in larger sizes, making this a rare model primarily produced in an Asian cut. As a result, very few examples remain, and they have become increasingly scarce on the market in recent years.
The condition is exceptionally good; judging by the fabric’s firmness and color, it is in excellent condition and appears to be unworn. This piece is perfect not only for a collection but also for actual wear, allowing you to enjoy the distinctive presence unique to heavyweight fabric.
