Jungle Fatigue Trousers in U.S. Army ERDL leaf camouflage.
Like the jacket introduced earlier, this pair uses an early print (early type ERDL) with a very crisp outline, and is estimated to have been manufactured around 1966-67, making it close to the so-called "first lot". The size is SMALL-REGULAR.
The fabric is cotton WR poplin. The fabric is lightweight and highly breathable, as it was designed to be used in the tropical environment of the Vietnam War period. Button fly front, waist side adjuster for size adjustment, and drawcord hem for full-scale jungle fatigues. The details of realistic combat uniforms of the time, such as the straps inside the cargo pockets, are also still firmly in place. The condition is very clean with almost no signs of use. The fabric is still firm and the contrast between the vivid green and brown colors characteristic of the ERDL is also good. While there are many pieces with advanced fading, early ERDL pants with this level of color are becoming harder to find every year, and this is a very valuable piece, including the fact that it can be worn as a set with a jacket.
The size is SMALL-REGULAR and the waist is relatively compact, but the silhouette is not peculiar, and the size balance is perfect from both practical and collection points of view. This is a used item and cannot be returned. Please understand.
