The gold standard of military parka - a real vintage M-65 fishtail parka adopted by the U.S. Army in 1965. This is a 1974 contract, size X-SMALL-REGULAR, and while the condition has a strong sense of use, the realistic aging process is rather tasteful. The liner and hood are missing and the shell is sold separately.

The M-65 Parka inherits the basic design of its predecessor, the M-51, but uses a lightweight nylon/cotton blend material to further enhance wind and cold resistance. This model was designed for combat in extremely cold regions during the late Vietnam War and the Cold War period. The inner liner provides high warmth retention, and the fishtail shape prevents wind and rain from entering.

The most important point of this product is that it is an early model with brass (brass) zippers. This is a detail that is very appealing to vintage enthusiasts, as it gives a rugged appearance that is distinctly different from the aluminum zippers and YKK plastic zippers of later years. The shell can be worn lightly as a coat by itself, and by adding a liner or a hood, it can be used as a winter coat in the middle of winter. It is a masterpiece that can be called the perfection of military outerwear, with both functionality as field wear and a design that can be dropped into town use. Please note that we do not accept returns for used items. Please understand in advance.
