This is a 4th Model VNMC Tiger Stripe shirt from 1968. It is nearly unused. This is the same pattern as the popular 4th pattern of the South Vietnamese Marine Corps Tiger Stripe, which is also called Seawave by collectors. Tiger stripes are popular as a special category because they are locally made in Vietnam. The way of procurement varies, and there are various versions because they are procured not only from a fixed factory but also from tailors in the city.

The shirts are in excellent condition, although there is some discoloration due to sunburn in places. The shirt is a standard ARVN cut, with epaulettes, shoulder pads, and elbow pads sewn on. The color is a strong green with a beautiful contrast between the body and sleeves, and it has the QM stamp of ARVN. The size is A-3, which is relatively large compared to most of the smaller sizes. The fabric is thin and many of them have been torn or repaired, but this one is clean and has no noticeable repairs. It is still in good condition and can be enjoyed.
