This vintage military shirt has a simple yet outstanding presence with the air of the Portuguese Colonial War era.
This is an actual Portuguese military Lizard Camo Combat Shirt used from the late 1960s to the early 1970s.

The camouflage pattern is "lizard camouflage" derived from the French army's TAP47/56. It is characterized by a color scheme that utilizes shading unique to Portugal and a streamlined design, and was highly effective in camouflage during jungle warfare in various parts of Africa (Angola, Mozambique, and Guinea-Bissau) at the time.

This model is believed to have been manufactured between 1968 and 1973, and was designed to be worn in hot climates and non-combat situations as a lighter version of the combat uniform. Although the tag is missing, there is no doubt that this is an authentic actual item from that period in terms of construction, sewing, and pattern.

A classic military design with a simple front with two distinctive pockets and shoulder patches. The fabric is a lightweight cotton material, light and breathable. The hem is round-cut, making it easy to wear either with pants in or out.

The condition is good for a vintage item, with fading and signs of use throughout, but no noticeable tears or losses. You can enjoy the realistic change over time, and it is truly a "back from the battlefield" piece.

It is also excellent for fashion use, and can be worn alone or as an inner layer. Please consider wearing it as a set-up or as a part of your military shirt collection.

This is a pre-owned item and cannot be returned. Please note that it is a pre-owned item and cannot be returned.
